During the past twenty-five years the focus of Mr. Grana’s practice has been the representation of physician practices and the healthcare facilities they own.  Mr. Grana has extensive experience representing physicians negotiating employment agreements with healthcare systems.  Mr. Grana also represents physicians and their practice entities in all aspects of healthcare including corporate and regulatory matters.  Mr. Grana has successfully defended clients against charges of Medicare fraud brought by the U.S. Government and places emphasis on helping his clients avoid situations that could give rise to such charges.  Mr. Grana also continues to represent family owned and other closely owned business entities in business matters.

Prior to focusing his practice in the field of healthcare, Mr. Grana served as underwriter’s counsel in the issuance of approximately $800 Million principal amount of bonds issued by tax exempt organizations.  Mr. Grana has extensive experience representing securities brokers in regulatory, litigation and arbitration matters and is a former arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers.  Mr. Grana also served as lead attorney in representing the United States Resolution Trust Corporation in its take-over of what was then the largest savings and loan association in the State of Missouri.  Since the beginning of his career, Mr. Grana also maintained a general practice of law serving the varied needs of business organizations and individuals.
